Stefania Tallini &
Jaques Morelenbaum
STEFANIA TALLINI – piano, composition
JAQUES MORELENBAUM – cello, composition
The collaboration between Stefania Tallini and Jaques Morelenbaum began with the recording of the new album – BRASITA – recorded with the Brazilian harmonica player Gabriel Grossi, of which Morelenbaum is the much appreciated Special Guest. The idea of the duo was born spontaneously, given the immediate feeling and the human and musical understanding between the two artists. In their concert some songs from the BRASITA album are presented, as well as other compositions by the pianist and cellist, as well as some tributes to the unforgettable Tom Jobim. Great lyricism, contamination between genres, total improvisations that merge into a musical language in which two geographically distant worlds merge into a single sound and become incredibly close.
